Tree-Athlon 2008 a tree-mendous success!

“A big big thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Trees for Cities Tree-Athlon charity event and raised lots of money to plant trees!

Last year, we supported Tree-Athlon’s held in London, Leeds and Manchester. About 4,000 Tree-Athletes ran in at these events. London was a lovely sunny day with lots of fun activities. I loved the Beat percussion, face painting and family tree trail. Rupert Bear, the Eco Explorer and Tree-Athlete from Nutwood, was there too.”
