Best foot forward for charity

The Quilted Velvet team donned their decorated bras to raise money for breast cancer care and research at the SunWalk Newcastle, a power-walking event, organised by the health charity, Walk the Walk.

Quilted Velvet was the local sponsor of the event, which took place on Sunday 19^th July at Exhibition Park. On the day we provided luxury bathrooms, complete with Quilted Velvet loo rolls, quality soaps and lovely toiletries for all the participants. Many lucky walkers also got given a special limited edition Walk the Walk Quilted Velvet toilet roll!

“It was a real privilege for us to support The SunWalk”, Team leader, Lou Minshull, said: “It was great fun pounding the streets of Newcastle with thousands of other power walkers to raise lots of money for this great charity. Thanks to everyone who sponsored us and made a difference.”

“We’re aiming to raise £3,500 for local breast cancer causes. We’re 60% of the way there, so please help us reach our target and make a donation if you can.”
